On the morning of April 19th, our Chamber's Supervisor, Tang Li, led a delegation to visit the Vice President Unit of the Chamber - Jiangsu Upass Materials Technology Co., Ltd. The Chairman and Vice President of Upass, Zhu Wenjun, warmly welcomed the delegation and engaged in in-depth discussions. Vice President Liang Zhenxuan, Secretary-General Hu Zhongmin, Deputy Secretary-General Zhou Kuiping, and others accompanied the visit.
Zhu Wenjun warmly welcomed the delegation from the Chamber and expressed gratitude for the Chamber's long-term care and support. Subsequently, the delegation toured Upass and received a brief introduction to the company's situation and products. Upass is headquartered in the New Materials Industry Park in Qingpu District, Shanghai, with two major production bases in Taicang, Jiangsu, and Chenzhou, Hunan. Upass adopts professional film manufacturing equipment and processes from European countries, mainly providing polymer film products such as SDM high-strength cross film, various functional PE anti-stick films, PE, PET, PP release films, composite films, etc.
These products find wide applications in areas such as building waterproofing, adhesive labels, medical equipment, electronic packaging, decoration, electronic optics, and others. Particularly in the field of waterproofing, Upass holds significant positions in both domestic and international markets. Currently, the company owns over 150 types of independent intellectual property rights, including 50 invention patents, and has been honored as a national high-tech enterprise and specialized, refined, and new-type enterprise.
